Installation

1. Download the APK to the Android phone or tablet.
2. Open the downloaded APK.
3. If Android asks, allow installation from the browser or file manager you used.
4. Allow Google Play Protect to scan the APK.
5. Complete the installation and open Marine Barometer.

Android may describe this as installing an app from an “unknown source.” That means the APK did not come through the Google Play Store; it does not mean Play Protect is disabled.

What's new in 1.9.0

The major visible addition is the Tide Clock, including an independently stored tide location and a conventional clockwise tide-phase display. Version 1.9.0 also includes the analog Clock and the stabilized adaptive background logging developed in the 1.8.x series.

This is still a beta build. The aim is useful field testing rather than a polished commercial release.
